Pegas designs and specifies every bike and e-bike we sell, and we work directly with vetted manufacturing partners to build them. This page explains where your bike comes from and how we ensure it's genuine.
Sourcing
Frames, motors, and components are manufactured to our specification by factory partners we audit for build quality and safety compliance. We do not sell counterfeit, grey-market, or unauthorized replica goods of any kind.
Electrical and safety compliance
Electric bike battery and charger systems are tested to recognized safety standards for lithium-ion e-bike batteries (such as UL 2849 or equivalent) before we bring a model to market. Helmets meet applicable CPSC/ASTM (or CE, where noted) safety certification for the region they're sold in.
Country of origin
Country of origin varies by model and component and is noted on the individual product page where required. Final assembly, quality inspection, and packaging steps are documented for every batch we ship.
Genuine parts for repairs
Replacement parts and accessories sold on pegasinc.com are genuine parts sourced through the same manufacturing partners as our complete bikes, not third-party equivalents, unless a listing explicitly says otherwise.
